Lighting Survey Form (LSF)

Frontier Associates maintains the lighting savings calculator (technically known as the "Lighting Survey Form" or "LSF") used by many of the major Texas utilities. This calculator is updated on a monthly basis with the latest approved LED technologies and any other lighting technologies approved and verified by Frontier Associates.

LSF v4.0 includes changes to lighting rules and requirements petitioned by the electric utilities of Texas and approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT). These changes will be implemented at the beginning of 2012.

Approved LED Lighting Product Table

Frontier Associates compiles a list of LED technologies approved for use in Commercial programs. This list is updated monthly and is comprised of LED technologies approved by DesignLights Consortium (DLC)'s Solid State Lighting Program, EnergyStar's Commercial LED Lighting Program, EnergyStar's LED "Light Bulbs" Program, and any LED approved for Commercial use by Frontier Associates.

Approved High Performance and Reduced Wattage T-8 Equipment

The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) develops and maintains energy specifications for High Performance and Reduced Wattage T-8 equipment. CEE also compiles a list of approved lamps and ballasts for T-8 systems that are eligible for incentives for retrofits.
